Shedletskys Curtido is a type of sauerkraut from El Salvador that adds a fantastic crunch and tastes amazing. The white cabbage as fermented for at least 18 days in a brine that's packed full of lime, fresh chillies and the distinct flavour of Mexican oregano. Cheeseburger Shedletsky Style
STORAGE: Keep your curtido in the fridge. It will last up to 6 months. Over this time, your curtido will continue to ferment, becoming more sour and less spicy. This is natural. It also produces CO² as it ferments. “Burp” your jars regularly by opening the lid to release the excess gas.
