Who are we?

Hello! We are Ben and Alice – the folks behind Somerset Foodie. We live in the West Country, Ben has over 20 years in the food industry working as a chef, developing street food recipes and sourcing authentic ingredients from far flung places. Alice takes care of the marketing side of things, chief in charge of testing Ben’s recipes and very, very fast at washing up!

We also offer small-group cooking workshops from our own family kitchen in Norton St Philip, Somerset. Our workshops are relaxed, fun, informative and super popular. If you don't see a date which works for you, get in touch and book a bespoke evening for friends and family...

We regularly host regular large scale cooking demonstrations and tasting events here at our Foodie Warehouse and shop in Rode, Somerset. We often invite fellow foodie chefs and independent makers to lend a hand. They are great fun!

Our Green Goals

We make all our local deliveries using our 100% electric van. We pack all your Mail Order parcels in compostable materials and we use paper instead of plastic whenever we possibly can. We have a ZERO food waste policy too, absolutely none of our ingredients will ever go in the bin!
