Mirin is a staple in Japanese cooking, it's used as a seasoning that adds sweetness to dishes like teriyaki. There are no many interesting uses for Mirin, try adding a splash into dressings, broths, marinades and glazes.

Well I made the best Chow Mein - the sauces and spices and the noodles gave it a really superb authentic feel.
