The Village Baking Co. country sourdough loaf is made from 'white' stoneground flour, milled at Matthews in the Cotswolds from regeneratively farmed UK wheat. Leavened with a sourdough starter and slowly fermented, this is our everyday hearty, rugged loaf.

We are so pleased to be back in collaboration with Joe @ The Village Baking Co. an independent artisan bakery in Rode and baking the best sourdough bread I've tasted in a long time. We supply their classic sourdough loaves freshly baked.

Please order by 5pm Wednesday for delivery or collection on Friday.

Best Sourdough Loaf ever !?

Joe Wilkin has ruined any other bread for me… I simply love the flavour of this sourdough loaf; so tasty but not overwhelming! it’s especially delicious if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one whilst it’s still warm from the oven… keeps well and freezes well too!
