Lao Gan Ma Crispy Chilli Oil, or LGM, is a great tasting chilli oil that's unlike anything else - it's perfect whenever you need a hit of intense flavour. Serve it as a condiment with noodle or rice dishes, drizzle it into soups and ramen dishes, use as a dipping sauce, just about anywhere. It's packed full and crispy chilli flakes and onion - mix well before use.
Ingredients: soybean oil, chilli (35%), onion, fermented soybean (soybean, water), salt, sichuan pepper, salt, flavour enhancer E621.
I buy this as soon as I start running out of it again, it’s very tasty! It obviously goes very well with any Far Eastern cuisine, but I even drizzle it on pizzas for extra umami - get the large jars when you can because you’ll quickly use it up, it’s that good!
I've just tried some of this stuff on sourdough bread with smashed avo and I'll never go back to Marmite as an accompaniment again. Great combination! (Thanks for 'upselling' this to me, Ben!)
I just can't get enough of this delicious crispy chilli. Sadly my husband has developed a liking for it too now! Delicious sprinkled on green vegetables such as broccoli or green beans.... it is just so versatile. Wish it came in bigger jars!
I bought this last week and half the jar is gone already over the last 4 days.
Its fabulous, textures and heat to liven up your mouth and any food you might put it on.
I will definitely be buying more.
