Don Antonio Puttaneso Pasta Sauce is the classic simple Italian pairing that totally relies on good quality ingredients. Made with beautifully sun-kissed tomatoes and naturally sweet cherry tomatoes, a soffritto of onions, carrot and celery adds depth, the sauce is spiked with capers and green olives to add a lovely contrast.
The Don Antonio family were originally farmers in the 1960's, Don Antonio started selling his products in the local Abruzzo market towns of Roccascalegna and Chieti. The family still grow tomatoes, onions and cultivate olive oil.
Gently warm this sauce in a pan for around 6 minutes then combine with your favourite pasta or use to top pizza or as the base for other pasta sauces.
Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3-4 days.
