Morita Tsuyu Concentrated Soup Stock is a versatile Japanese liquid stock made using traditional brewing methods and carefully selected ingredients. Based on naturally brewed soy sauce, it is delicately balanced with shiitake mushroom and kombu to deliver deep umami and a clean, savoury finish.
This concentrated tsuyu is most commonly diluted to create a soup for soba and udon noodles, but it is equally effective as a dipping sauce or just an all-purpose Japanese seasoning. Use it for noodle soups, tempura dipping, nabe hot pots, donburi dishes, tamago, or to add depth to stir-fries and braised vegetables.
Dilute with water according to your preference, we recommend anything from 1:5 to 1:8. To sharpen up the flavour, add a splash of sake and finish with hot sesame oil.
Ideal for anyone looking to stock an authentic Japanese pantry essential that delivers maximum flavour with flexibility.

Habhal’s Kecap Manis is delicious! A much sweeter and thicker version of soy sauce, which as the name ‘Kecap’ (Indonesian ketchup) suggests, can be liberally added to most dishes. It’s a thick, molasses-like Indonesian soy sauce made from fermented soy beans, sugar, and spices. The bottle seems to last for ages, and is very good value. Highly recommended!
Superb range of ingredients! Wonderful company with lovely, passionate owners. Delivered via electric van.
So many interesting products, and lots of good advice from the staff. The olives were stunning.
I’ve ordered the Calabrian chillies for the second time ..
They superbly compliment the Chicken Arrabbiata pasta dish that I make .. which is a traditional Italian recipe…
A suggestion may be to include quality San Marzano tomatoes in your range to complement this dish … it’s loved by all of my family…
