Rich, creamy, and indulgently smooth, CasArrigoni Gorgonzola is an artisan blue cheese crafted in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, where Gorgonzola has been made for over a thousand years. Produced by the CasArrigoni family—renowned for their dedication to traditional cheesemaking—this Gorgonzola is a testament to quality and time-honoured methods.
A Taste of Italian Heritage
Gorgonzola takes its name from the town of Gorgonzola near Milan, where legend has it the cheese was first created in the 9th century. Its iconic blue-green veining and velvety texture come from careful aging and the introduction of Penicillium mould, giving it its distinctive tang and depth of flavour. CasArrigoni’s version strikes a perfect balance between creamy sweetness and savoury sharpness.
How to Enjoy
CasArrigoni Gorgonzola is wonderfully versatile. Spread it on warm sourdough or crackers, melt it into risottos or polenta for an extra layer of richness, or stir it into cream sauces for pasta or steak. It pairs beautifully with pears, figs, walnuts, and a drizzle of honey—and don’t forget a glass of bold red wine or a sweet dessert wine like Vin Santo to complement its complex flavour.
Allergens: LACTOSE

First time making a Thai Green Curry with the Maesri green curry paste, the coconut milk, Thai Jasmine rice & sweet chilli sauce all sourced from yourselves. We were 8 people dining and I wanted something easy to prepare. I did a dummy run the week before and found the paste to be so flavoursome with a nice kick that suited me and my husband but decided to reduce the amount of paste used to tone down the spice a little bit to ensure it suited all palettes. The second time of cooking I actually made it the day before, slowly reheated the next day to avoid the coconut milk splitting and added precooked al dente green beans (substituted instead of the recommend eggplant) to heat through just before serving. It was absolutely delicious with very authentic flavour, one guest said it’s the best Thai curry he’s ever tasted and he’s 80! I’ve shared your company details so hope you get a few more customers - thank you for another go to dish 😊
I really enjoyed these peppers, they’re a nice reminder of pintxos in Bilbao. Very nice!
Pizza base, Mutti Tomato Polpa, Fior mozzarella ball and a tin of sardines all from Somerset Foodie with some olives and other oddments from home enabled my grandchildren (who are pizza connoisseurs!) my daughter and I to have the most delicious pizzas over Easter. We each chose our own toppings and creative designs - completely delicious and very satisfying! Half a pizza is a generous portion by the way… so I still have 3 bases in the freezer! Thank you Ben
Excellent olives quickly dispatched. Great service… Yum
