Tre Marie Salted Caramel & Chocolate Biscuits come from Le Tre Marie, an historic Milanese bakery in Italy. Like our Cranberry & Almond Cookies, this is one of Le Tre Marie's breakfast biscuits - the kind of thing dunked into a morning coffee in Italy rather than saved just for afternoons. It's a butter shortcrust biscuit - crumbly, properly buttery, with a faint brown-sugar sweetness - studded with crystals of salted caramel and milk chocolate chips throughout, sturdy enough to survive a good dip without falling apart before it reaches your mouth.

Start the day the Italian way, dipping them into a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of milk and letting the chocolate soften slightly before you bite.
