Sesame Sauce is used extensively across Asian cooking, particularly in Chinese food where the nutty, slightly sweet flavour is needed. The key difference between sesame sauce and Tahini is that Tahini is made from plain sesame seeds where as Sesame Sauce is made from roasted sesame seeds - this makes a massive difference.
