This Loison Frutta & Fiora Panettone is made using a combination of the intensely fragrant Amalfi lemons and the Syracuse lemons prized for their essential oils. The panettone also has a delicious lemon filling that makes this such a treat.
Just like any other great tasting artisan bread, the best Panettone is made over the course of several days. Each Loison Panettone is the result of 3 days of craft, from traditional sourdough starters or 'natural leaven', careful selection of the best ingredients to slow and gentle proving. The result is a Panettone that is luxurious in every way, a gift in it's own right.
Tranquillo Loison opened his first bakery in 1938 and the family run business, based near Venice has grown into one of the most loved producers, creating superb tasting Panettone in beautifully packaged boxes.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, lemon cream (15%) [glucose syrup, sugar, water, Siracusa lemon peels PGI (5%), sweetened egg yolk, butter, ethyl alcohol, infusion of Amalfi limoncello PGI, milk protein, thickener: modified corn starch, whey powder, gelling agent: pectin, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of vegetable origin fatty acids, natural flavors, preservative: potassium sorbate, natural colorant: yellow curcumin], fresh free range eggs, sultana raisin (11%), fresh butter (9%), sugar, candied lemon peel and ground (9%) [lemon peel (53%), sugar, glucose-fructose syrup], natural sourdough yeast, Fresh free range egg yolk, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of vegetable origin fatty acids, wildflower honey from Sicily, fresh milk (1%), fresh cream (1%), Cervia whole marine salt, cocoa butter, natural Mananara vanilla from Madagascar* (0,2%), Natural flavors. *SLOW FOOD PRESIDIUM
We aim to process every order within 24hrs (Mon-Fri). Orders placed after 12pm will generally be processed the following day.
Once your order has been packed, standard delivery takes 48hrs once it leaves our warehouse, we do have an express option which is 24hrs and is recommended when ordering any chilled items.
We can mail order ambient and chilled ingredients to the whole of the UK, including all of The Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, we cannot mail order frozen items.
All shipments are tracked, we use a combination of The Royal Mail and DPD, tracking numbers are emailed to you for each order.
Our shipping rates depend on the weight of your order and start from £3.99 shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
All the packaging we use is compostable or just paper and cardboard that can easily
be disposed of in your kerbside recycling. (Chilled items are sent in temperature controlled pouches with ice packs
which are not compostible but can be reused).
A real treat. The cake mix is as light as a feather finished off with dried fruit (raisin a preserved lemons) all laced through with lemon cream. Delicious with a cappuccino

Pizza base, Mutti Tomato Polpa, Fior mozzarella ball and a tin of sardines all from Somerset Foodie with some olives and other oddments from home enabled my grandchildren (who are pizza connoisseurs!) my daughter and I to have the most delicious pizzas over Easter. We each chose our own toppings and creative designs - completely delicious and very satisfying! Half a pizza is a generous portion by the way… so I still have 3 bases in the freezer! Thank you Ben

Following Ben's recipe, I used the Asturian Meat Stew Pack to make a really tasty fabada and it was very well received.

The raisins really are huge. Such a wonderful taste. I use them instead of sultanas.
