Kursat's Ezme Paste is a spicy, tangy Turkish vegetable paste built from roasted red piquillo pepper, sun-dried tomato and green chilli, sweetened with pomegranate juice and sharpened with Aleppo pepper, sumac, oregano and mint. It's made by Kursat's, a UK company founded by Istanbul-born, Wales-trained development chef Kursat, whose approach is "we do the slow work, so you don't have to." At 68% vegetables with no starch or fillers, it's built to taste like the fresh ezme you'd find on a mezze table in the Eastern Mediterranean, not a supermarket dip.
A spoonful goes a long way. Spread it onto warm flatbread or stir through hummus for an instant lift, or fold it through grains, pasta or roasted vegetables for colour and depth. It also doubles as a marinade - rub it over chicken, white fish or halloumi before grilling for a sweet, spiced finish. Stirred into a tomato-based sauce or stew, it brings a shortcut of Turkish depth without any extra chopping.

Very impressed with the service provided by the Somerset Foodie- excellent communication, carefully wrapped goods, personal touch with a hand written note - a lovely feeling that you are dealing with real people 😊 who care!
A bit to morish.
Very delicious beans. Quick to cook after overnight soak.
Always speedy delivery, always perfect products, great prices, always tell all my friends about Somerset Foodie. Planning to visit soon. Great coms too Ben!
I bought this honey as I'd heard that consuming honey produced by bees local to where you live, I live in west Wiltshire, helps with pollen allergies. No idea if that's true, but this is beautifully tasting, quite unlike anything bought in a supermarket. Worth buying.
