Making sushi is great fun and far more straightforward than you might think. This Sushi making kit give you all the basics to get you started. All you need is to choose your favourite fillings and you're away.
This kit will allow you to make at least 90-100 pieces of sushi, with some ingredients to spare.

This kit contains the following ingredients:
Haruka Sushi Rice, 1kg
Mizkan Rice Vinegar, 500ml
Sushi Nori sheets, 10 sheets
Wasabi Paste, 43g
Pickled Ginger, 340g
Sushi Bamboo Rolling Mat
Here are some classic fillings for your home made sushi:
Fresh Salmon
Smoked Salmon
Fresh Tuna
Fresh Mackerel
Smoked Mackerel
King Prawns
Crab
Cucumber
Carrot
Avocado
Spring Onion
Red Peppers
Red Chillies
Mango
Apple
But don't just go by this list or what convention dictates - it's great to be creative and go a little wild....BBQ pulled pork, katsu chicken, hoisin duck!
We aim to process every order within 24hrs (Mon-Fri). Orders placed after 12pm will generally be processed the following day.
Once your order has been packed, standard delivery takes 48hrs once it leaves our warehouse, we do have an express option which is 24hrs and is recommended when ordering any chilled items.
We can mail order ambient and chilled ingredients to the whole of the UK, including all of The Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, we cannot mail order frozen items.
All shipments are tracked, we use a combination of The Royal Mail and DPD, tracking numbers are emailed to you for each order.
Our shipping rates depend on the weight of your order and start from £3.99 shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
All the packaging we use is compostable or just paper and cardboard that can easily
be disposed of in your kerbside recycling. (Chilled items are sent in temperature controlled pouches with ice packs
which are not compostible but can be reused).
The Somerset Foodie kits make great presents. All in a neat box and great value.
Combination of quality ingredients and informative "how to" video make this kit box fun to stretch culinary skills. Great value as well.
I bought two of these kits as birthday presents and they were a huge success. Containing everything you need to get started they were really good value and make it very easy to try your hand at making sushi for the first time - fab idea!

Pizza base, Mutti Tomato Polpa, Fior mozzarella ball and a tin of sardines all from Somerset Foodie with some olives and other oddments from home enabled my grandchildren (who are pizza connoisseurs!) my daughter and I to have the most delicious pizzas over Easter. We each chose our own toppings and creative designs - completely delicious and very satisfying! Half a pizza is a generous portion by the way… so I still have 3 bases in the freezer! Thank you Ben

The raisins really are huge. Such a wonderful taste. I use them instead of sultanas.
