Whole Moong, also known as green gram or mung bean, is a type of lentil that is widely used in Indian and South Asian cooking. They are the key ingredient for green moong dal and have a slightly sweet and nutty flavour.
The whole moong can also be sprouted and used in salads, wraps and stir-fries.
