Tamburro Smoked Scamorza Cheese, 250g

Scamorza cheese is made in a similar way to mozzarella, in that it's a stretched curd cheese and traditional in Southern Italy. The smoked variety has a stronger flavour than mozzarella and it's fantastic on pizza, in grilled cheese sandwiches, baked into lasagna or grated into a risotto.

Scamorza has a very distinct 'pear shape', it's formed when the soft cheese is tied up to dry. Tamburro are based in land from Naples and have been making quality cheese for three generations.
