Woh Hup Malaysian Chicken Curry Paste, 190g


Woh Hup Malaysian Chicken Curry paste is the perfect base for an authentic Malay curry, or Kari Ayam as it's called in Malaysia. It's one of the classic curries of the world and tastes sublime, with fragrant flavours of lemongrass, turmeric, garlic, ginger and curry leaves.

As well as chicken, this curry usually contains potatoes cut into 1 inch cubes and coconut milk. You simply simmer the chicken and potatoes in the curry paste with coconut milk and some water or chicken stock. What sets a good Malay curry apart from other styles of curry, and like with a good Rendang, they are cooked until the oil splits from the sauce.

Woh Hup sauces and pastes are made in Malaysia by Malaysian people! They have been creating authentic flavours for chefs in Malaysia to use since 1936.
