Orzo simply translates as 'barley' and this small, barley shaped pasta was originally made to go into soups and broths like minestrone. Don't just leave it at that, Orzo is great in salads paired with salty cheeses, spicy tomatoes and fresh herbs served either warm or cold.

Riscossa have been making pasta in Puglia since 1902 and their pasta is a household name in Italy.

A must for soups and broth

This is a really lovely tasting pasta, great for adding to soups and broths. Have made numerous versions of these and it just gives them a bit more body. I’ve also found a Coq-au-Vin Orzo recipe which I would thoroughly recommend using this product.
