Japanese Ingredients

Wang Doenjang - Korean Soy Bean Paste, 500g


Doenjang is a fermented soy bean paste that's a staple in Korean cooking. Used as a seasoning for soups, stews, marinades and often in tandem with Gochujang - another ingredient made from fermented soy beans.

Doenjang is comparable to Japanese miso but has a far deeper flavour with rich, salty, umami flavours.

Ingredients: Soybean, wheat flour, salt, water, soybean paste (soybean, salt, seed malt), ethyle alcohol (water, sugar cane),  hydrolyzed wheat protein, seed malt, E452, E450.
