Sobrasada Picante Menorca PDO, 400-500g

Sobrasada is a semi cured spreadable chorizo made using pork and paprika. It's a little like Italian Nduja, but with the distinct chorizo flavour. It's often just eaten on toast, drizzled with a little honey and sometimes a few toasted almonds.

It's also fantastic at adding richness and a meaty umaminess to soups and stews, try adding some into a quick bean stew with tomatoes, onion and garlic.

This sobrasada is wrapped in wax paper, there will naturally always be a little mold on the outside of the skin, this is normal and not an indication that the product has deteriorated.
