Rogan Josh originated in Persia before making it's way to the Kashmiri region of Northern India. An aromatic blend of garam masala, cumin, paprika and fennel is used to make this brilliant curry paste. Traditionally made with red meat, Lamb Rogan Josh is a great curry and a perfect way of using cheaper lamb neck fillets.
Fry onions and meat, add 30g of paste and 100g of crushed tomatoes per person. Mix in some stock and simmer gently until the meat is tender.
Ingredients: Rapeseed oil, tomato puree, water, red peppers, spirit vinegar, coriander, paprika, onion, garam masala, cumin, chilli, spice, garlic, lemon juice, salt, ginger, spice, black pepper.
