Brown Linseeds, 500g

Linseed, also known as flaxseed - is a rich source of omega fatty acids, especially omega 3, but to access most of the oils in linseed it is better to crush the whole seeds first. It is better to crush them up as and when you need them, because over time the oils can deteriorate. Linseeds are also a good source of water soluble fibre.

ALL Somerset Foodie raw ingredients are packed in 100% compostable bags with biodegradable paper labels. The trade off for caring about the planet is that our bags are slightly more fragile than you'll be used to, so we  recommend you pop the ingredients into a jam jar or tupperware when you get them home.

Allergens: none.
Packed in an environment where nuts are handled.

So many seeds

The linseeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and sunflower seeds are delicious and perfect for popping in the bread maker to perk up our toast! Cheaper and better packaging than the supermarkets too.
