Dry roasting them in a pan first will elevate the flavour more, before soaking them in hot water for a good 15-20 minutes. They are amazing paired with tomatoes and tomatillos.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCascabel Chilli Tomatillo Salsa\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e4 x Cascabel Chillies, roughly torn apart (retain the seeds)\u003cbr\u003e1 x 380g \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/somersetfoodie.com\/products\/carey-whole-tomatillos-340g\" title=\"Carey Whole Green Tomatillos\"\u003eCan Green Tomatilloes\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cbr\u003e2 x Cloves Garlic, roughly chopped\u003cbr\u003e½tsp Cider Vinegar\u003cbr\u003e50ml Water\u003cbr\u003eSalt\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e1. In a dry pan, roast the cascabel chillies over a high heat for 1-2 minutes, turning a few times.\u003cbr\u003e2. Remove from the pan and cover with hot water and soak for 15 minutes.\u003cbr\u003e3. Open the can of Green Tomatillos and discard the liquid.\u003cbr\u003e4. Place the tomatillos, soaked cascabel chillies, garlic cloves, cider vinegar and 50ml of water in a food blender and blitz until smooth.
