These cinnamon buns have become famous locally!
Soft and buttery Brioche buns filled with cinnamon and brown sugar, baked then dipped in orange syrup. Made with organic stone ground flour and Ivy House Farm organic butter by artisan bakery The Village Baking Company who share the same building as us in Rode.
We love working with this independent artisan bakery - Joe and Jen's fantastic business was a product of the first 2020 lockdown, just like Somerset Foodie.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, yeast, butter, milk, salt, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, water, muscovado sugar & orange extract

..& I don’t mind one bit.
We now have a weekly rolling order of 4 cinnamon buns. Fairly often there's only two in the box when we get home though.. Love them with a cup of tea, & as the weather turns we’ve been warming them in the oven - upside down, so that they don’t give up their gooey goodness to the baking tray.
We really enjoyed the cinnamon buns. The syrup in the bun is moist and full of flavour. They were great treats for us. Thank you.
