Falafels are a staple in the Middle East and have become just as popular here in the UK. If you don't have time to make your own falafels from scratch, it's really quick and easy to make up delicious, fresh falafels using this dry mix and a little cold water.
Simply empty the contents of the sachet into a mixing bowl, add 170ml of cold water and mix. Leave it to stand for 3-4 minutes and then roll them into golf ball sized nuggets. Fry them in hot oil for 20-30 seconds or until golden brown.
They are excellent served with with a tahini dressing or as part of a mezze platter.
